Best dang pork chops I've had in a long while. All the food here was fresh and so tasty, well seasoned and a decent portion. The prices were good too. Service was friendly and laid back but we didn't mind slowing down for a minute, it's nice to sit and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. For a first visit it was really good and I'll be back for sure!

Stopped at the Country Cafe for dinner while in the area for a couple of days. My hubby had a chicken quesadilla that he said was very good. I had catfish with carrots and green beans which was, also, very good. We got dessert to go because we were too full to eat it there. They have a sizable menu with plenty of choices. Our waitress was a sweetheart!

We were staying at Blair Creek & happened to find this little gem. Perfect little countryside, family friendly restaurant with southern charm. The breakfast was delicious & prices were great. I loved their biscuits so much, we went back the next morning for more. My husband loved the loaded hashbrowns. Staff was so sweet & service was great. We'll definately be back next time we're visiting the area.

We went on a random Wednesday morning around brunch-time, and there was just my group of three and one other couple. The waitress was very nice and efficient, she paid attention very well and ensured we had everything we needed without checking in too frequently. The food was good. My dad said the ham was really salty, and my friend said the preserved strawberries on her pancakes looked a little rough for her tastes. My wrap was yummy, and filling. Atmosphere was good, bathroom was well-maintained though it was out of paper towels. The floors at the entrance were kind of sticky, but the whole place was very clean. There was no music and the TVs were muted so it was quiet.

Stopped in for lunch after the Big South Fork scenic railroad trip. Food was excellent, chicken & dumpling special and chicken chef salad. Cornbread is the best I've had in a long time, savory..yum.
